Baumit SilikonTop can be applied onto many surface types if Baumit UniPrimer has been applied first. It is suitable for external wall insulation with appropriate preparation, cement and lime render, organic basecoats gypsum plasters and a range of other surfaces. Baumit SilikonTop is:<br> <br> Suitable for application over mineral coatings.<br> Highly water and weather resistant.<br> Algae and fungus resistant.<br> Easy to apply by hand or spray machine.<br> Ideal for multiple exterior surface types.<br> Typical use of Baumit SilikonTop<br> Baumit SilikonTop is a wet topcoat ideally suited for applying over new and old mineral coatings or prepared surfaces. Best used with Baumit UniPrimer, this product is ready mixed, applies easily and dries best between 5 and 20C and 60% humidity. Cooler temperatures or higher humidity may extend drying time. The product is ready-mixed and can be applied with a trowel or spray machine, then left to dry for at least 14 days between coatings. Typical coverage of Baumit SilikonTop K1.5mm is 2.5/m2. Each 25kg tub covers up to 10m2 depending on surface preparation.
